An extended-time EarthSky editor, Eleanor Imster, is retiring on July 14, 2021. Eleanor has helped write and edit EarthSky since 1995. After majoring in philosophy at Barnard College in New York City, and within the midst of elevating two sons, Eleanor served as an integral a part of the award-winning EarthSky radio collection from shortly after its starting in 1991 till it resulted in 2013. As a lead editor for EarthSky, she has helped to current the science and nature tales and pictures you all take pleasure in for 26 years. Eleanor and her husband Marc stay in Tennessee, the place they take pleasure in guitar taking part in and singing. Eleanor is leaving partly to give attention to her music.
